Restart your Mac from the Start menu in Windows. Press and hold the Option (or Alt) ⌥ key as your Mac begins to restart. Select your Mac startup volume (Macintosh HD) in the Startup Manager window, then press Return or click the up arrow: How to start up in Windows from macOS. Mac users waited many long years, but MacOS now has native window snapping, just like Windows 10. Click and drag a window to one of the four sides or four corners of your display, and a translucent. As others have noted, OS X comes with various open source packages pre-installed. While this can be a nice convenience, the packages often are only updated to new versions as part of a major OS X release (like 10.5 to 10.6). Also, some packages are used elsewhere by other parts of OS X and there is no easy way to know which.

Are you new to Sugar?
There are two Live Systems that run Sugar from a USB stick or bootable DVD: The almighty spectrum (ld34) mac os.
- Sugar on a Stick based on Fedora, runs on 64-bit PCs and OS/X Macintoshes, OLPC XO and Raspberry Pi, in English only
- Trisquel On A Sugar Toast, runs on 32- and 64-bit PCs and has more Activities and world language support
If you have a high-speed Internet connection, Fedora with the Sugar graphical learning environment may be installed to a hard disk or a a 4 GB USB stick with a Netinstall CD
Do you use GNU/Linux?
Sugar is supported by several GNU/Linux distributions. Sugar Labs does not support any specific distribution, but does focus development on Fedora and Debian, which helps SoaS and Ubuntu.
